The US is the one who put Sadaam in power. The amount of people who die theyre every day because of un sanctions on the country is disguisting. [ http://www.oneworld.org/news/reports/may96_iraq2.html ] It seems that no one cares though because no one has any regards for a life that isn't American. All thats gonna happen now is more people are going to be killed. I don't understand why they have to launch an all out war to take out on man. US only stepped in to help Kuwait so that Iraq wouldn't have control of their oil fields. US didn't prevent Sadaam from killed Shii Muslims in the south because at the time, peopl believed they would revolt and join Shii Iran, who the US was more 'against' at the time, so they allowed it to go on. Now they set up these so called no fly zones to "protect" those same people that they had no problem with dyeing just a few years before. Iraq has been receiving airstrikes on a constant basis over the last 10 years. Theyre just going to intensify now, nothing new. I do hope that they do take out Sadaam, cause the guy has done much worse for his people in the process. But what i'm afraid of is that hundreds of thousand innocent lives will be lost in the process, and once it's over, theyre gonna try to implement the government that THEY want. Same thing theyre trying to do in the Palestinian territories.
